At 850 m above sea level in the idyllic village of Klerant overlooking Brixen, Hotel Fischer provides plenty of inspiration to go on excursions and hikes – both near and far – in the South Tyrolean countryside.

Valley of Trails

From the hotel, you can get to easy hiking routes designed for leisurely walks and romantic strolls in the Eisack Valley, which just happens to be known as the Valley of Trails. With a very mild climate, the hiking season is guaranteed from April until November, with fantastic conditions for hiking holidays in South Tyrol.

The hiking destination of Plose

The cable car station that transports passengers to the hiking paradise on the Plose mountain is just a five-minute drive from the hotel. At the summit station (altitude: 2,050 m), you will be greeted with fantastic 360° views of the Dolomites and the mountains surrounding the Eisack Valley. There are so many hiking options from here, from a leisurely hike along mountain pastures right through to challenging alpine mountain tours.

For all mountain climbers

An absolute highlight on your hiking holiday at Hotel Fischer is sure to be climbing the 2,875 metre Peitlerkofel mountain. A hike through the Funes Valley also comes highly recommended. Experience the magic of the Dolomites at the foot of the Geisler Group.

Autumn in South Tyrol is Törggelen season

See the beauty of the South Tyrolean countryside in autumn. The Keschtnweg Chestnut Trail in the Eisack Valley takes hikers through chestnut groves along the valley, with a stop at a typical wine tavern to enjoy a traditional Törggelen platter.
