Handling local produce with respect, sourcing (drinking) water straight from the Plose mountain and taking advantage of the natural heat from the wood sourced from nearby forests – all this is important to us. It’s our contribution to improving the environment.

The special freshness of local produce

We source fresh meat from our neighbours, the Widmannhof organic farm, who pride themselves on the humane treatment of their animals: The cows graze on the meadows in summer and are fed the best organic hay in winter
Our game meat comes from the neighbouring game reserve in Lüsen
The fresh herbs that our chefs cook with come from our very own herb garden

Our sensational water comes from the Plose mountain
The excellent quality of the drinking water from the Plose mountain has been appreciated and praised by fans for many generations
